Sessions Overview
A session in AllCoach is a scheduled 1-on-1 meeting between you and a client. Sessions are booked by clients through the client portal, and take place over Google Meet, a link you provide, or in person.
How Sessions Work
You define a session type on a program — duration and number of sessions included
You configure your availability — the days and times you are open for bookings
A client enrolls in the program
The client books a session from their portal — they pick a date and time from your availability
AllCoach sends both you and the client a confirmation email with the meeting details. For Google Meet sessions, it also creates the Meet link automatically.
At the scheduled time, both parties join via the Google Meet link
Requirements
Only Google Meet sessions require a connected Google account, since AllCoach uses the Google Calendar API to create Meet links. Custom URL and Face to Face sessions work without it. See Google Meet Setup.
Session States
State | Meaning |
|---|---|
Upcoming | Booked, not yet occurred |
Completed | Session time has passed |
Cancelled | Session was cancelled by the coach or admin |
Session Limits
Each program defines how many sessions are included (the repetition count). Once a client has booked all their allocated sessions, no more bookings are available for that enrollment.
